In Wimbledon, Switzerland's Roger Federer defeated Marin Chilich of Croatia in the men's singles category finals to win the title. This is the 19th Grand Slam title of Federer. He made his name the first Grand Slam Tournament Australian Open this year. He did not participate in the second Grand Slam French Open of the year. Federer last won the title in 2012. After that he had reached the final in 2014 and 2015, but could not win the title. Last time they were defeated in the semifinals.
