Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah actor Shyam Pathak, who plays Popatlal in the show, has reportedly been asked to quit the comedy show, According to the same report, the actor got into a heated debate with the producer of the show Asit Modi, following which things took a rather ugly turn.SpotboyE reported that actor Dilip Joshi, who plays Jethalal on the show, recently flew to London to perform for the Indian audience in the city on popular demand, upon reaching there, Dilip was informed that the crowd wants to see him perform with Shyam, as their comic timing is on point. Shyam was informed about this, and he was only too happy to accommodate. The duo performed to a roaring audience.

However, unlike Dilip, Shyam didn't inform the makers about his London gig, and people kept waiting for the actor to turn up on the sets of the show.After Shyam finally met the producer, things became awkward and the two ended things on a rather bad note. Shyam was asked to leave the sets, and had to sit at home for few days as a result, SpotboyE reported. Later the actor admitted his mistake and apologised to the producer. Looks like Shyam will continue to be a part of the show
